Learning from the best - Darren Rowse

Is there a better way to learn making money online than learn from the people already doing it?
One of the most respected and admired people in the game is Darren Rowse a blogger who is actually earning a living with blogs. Recently he anounced his biggest monthly cheque from Google’s Adsense. From 1 May - 31 May 2005 he earned $14,436.45. Wow… I can only dream of this sum of money. But never say never.
How does he do it? Darren owns and writes on 17 blogs on a variety of topics ranging from Digital Photography Blog through to other technology blogs like Camera Phone Zone, to ProBlogger through to Depression News. He writes 25 posts per day 7 days per week.
My favorite blog from Darren is Problogger. This site is dedicated to helping other bloggers learn the skills, share their own experiences and promote the blogging medium. It actualy was the main reason I started learning how to make some extra money online. Thanks Darren!

So… He’s just writing ‘good’ articles with good content and, I see, he writes a lot of articles. On his blogs, people actually DO click the adsense links? Interesting. But coming up with 25 articles per day… I have not read any of his articles (yet) but are they loosing on quality of information? Have and info on that?

Yes, people actualy do click on adsense links. Why not? If there is an interesting add that gets your atention, why not click it?
I regulary folow and read Problogger.net and can tell you that articles are very interesting and of high quality.

Mark, his job is writing these blogs. He works 12 hours a day 6 days a week to come up with the 25 article per day average. I haven’t visited any of them except for ProBlogger yet, but based on what I have read so far I don’t think that he is sacrificing quality with his quantity. If he wasn’t good at it, he wouldn’t be making a living at it.

Of course. I’m not SAYING his articles are poor quality. I’m ASKING! Read my first comment again. I haven’t heard of him and his work untill now. But thinking of it… 25 articles, 6 days a week, 50 weeks per year… that adds up to 7500 articles per year!? I’m actually glad he makes a living just by writing and giving speeches… good for him, doing what he enjoys (hopefully). But to write 25 good quality articles per day you have to have some wide area of expertiese. But when you’re all over the place you tend to be really shitty in most. Isn’t that right? (yes yes, there are exceptions)
I’m gonna go and read some of his articles.

I knew you were asking. I was answering your question to the best of my knowledge. I have not checked out any of his other blogs so I do not know if he is crappy quality there, but problogger is worth reading at least.
